- abbinare ( = to match);
- abbottonare / sbottonare ( = to button up / to unbutton);
- accorciare ( = to shorten);
- allungare ( = to lengthen);
- allargare ( = to widen);
- stringere ( = to take in);
- allacciare ( = to lace);
- annodare / fare il nodo ( = to tie, to knot);
- indossare ( = to wear);
- infilare / infilarsi ( = to put on / to get into);
- mettersi ( = to put on, to dress);
- vestirsi ( = to get dressed);
- vestirsi bene/con gusto ( = to dress well/tastefully);
- cambiarsi ( = to get changed);
- slacciare ( = to untie);
- sfilarsi ( = to slip off);
- togliersi ( = to take off);
- svestirsi / spogliarsi ( = to get undressed, to take your clothes off).
